This summer I interned with Celebrity Fashion Stylist Olori SWANK.. which was the bomb diggity.. I had to do an introductory blog post so I decided to talk about my style sense, and as you all may already know, I'm a THRIFT FANATIC!! Everything in this outfit is thrifted except for the shoes and tank. Hope you like! Oh and I apologize it's been so long since I've posted. I recently moved back to school.. and well, you know how that goes!

We Get Teased at Wendy's
Wore this outfit inside a Wendy's restaurant and ALMOST felt embarrassed. One employee saw me, giggled a little, and went to get his fellow employees. SOME OF THEM EVEN POINTED!! I say I ALMOST felt embarrassed because the employees made me seem like a joke, but sadly they work at Wendy's, there's no bigger joke than that.. hahaha OK enough with the cruelty. My style is very eccentric obviously, and I tend to receive tons of attention (both positive and negative) when I'm out. If I cared what people thought, I wouldn't be so unique. Guess the moral of this post is if you're in love with your style, the opinion of others shouldn't influence your dress. Muah Loves!!

Thrifty Excursion
Went on a thrift date with my darling Dorian! First rule to an exciting thrift date is to find someone to keep you motivated. Thrift shopping can get slightly boring at times, and it's always nice to have someone to hype you up. I love those blazers I found at Goodwill for $5 each! I can't wait to shoot how that sheer green beaded blouse is on, because I know it seems hideous from the rack, but it's absolutely gorge! To our surprise, a few girls were shopping at the thrift too and they found some pretty interesting pieces. So if for some reason you think thrifting isn't cool... you're wrong because it's the new hobby!!

Bojangles!
I get ton's of questions as to where I get most of my clothing and accessories from and people are shocked when I say "Oh I got this top from America's Thrift Store for two dollars." This entire outfit is from the thrift shop and that includes this Neiman Marcus over-sized women's shirt and these colorful oxfords from a local thrift each for 10 bucks. The trick of thrifting is not to find generic pieces, but instead, look for the items that stand out (in a good way of course).
