It's been a long time comiiinnnggg...
Ya Ya Ya.. I know. Unfortunately, I have not been a committed blogger, and for this I apologize. But I have great excuses: full time college student, active member of various organizations, pageant, organizing a relief effort titled, 'got food, while attempting to stay stylish. Here's a recap of my life in the past 4 months.

And of course I managed to do some shopping in between. Will blog about the super cool items I've been snagging. Later tho. Toodles

ReBlog no biggie
This summer I interned with Celebrity Fashion Stylist Olori SWANK.. which was the bomb diggity.. I had to do an introductory blog post so I decided to talk about my style sense, and as you all may already know, I'm a THRIFT FANATIC!! Everything in this outfit is thrifted except for the shoes and tank. Hope you like! Oh and I apologize it's been so long since I've posted. I recently moved back to school.. and well, you know how that goes!

We Get Teased at Wendy's
Wore this outfit inside a Wendy's restaurant and ALMOST felt embarrassed. One employee saw me, giggled a little, and went to get his fellow employees. SOME OF THEM EVEN POINTED!! I say I ALMOST felt embarrassed because the employees made me seem like a joke, but sadly they work at Wendy's, there's no bigger joke than that.. hahaha OK enough with the cruelty. My style is very eccentric obviously, and I tend to receive tons of attention (both positive and negative) when I'm out. If I cared what people thought, I wouldn't be so unique. Guess the moral of this post is if you're in love with your style, the opinion of others shouldn't influence your dress. Muah Loves!!

Atlanta GURLS!!
I usually like to deviate from the typical ATL girl style simply because I find it generic and the lack individualism bores me. But one of my friends saw me in this outfit and called out "Atlanta Gurl" hahaha, and I had to agree with her. Okay so I promised my readers I had an announcement to make and here it is... Sometime during this week, I will be announcing the rules and regulations to my first giveaway. All you fashionista's will love the prize so keep a close watch!

10 Sizes Large
Photography by KC Smith
I found this top at the thrift store of course, but you won’t believe what size it actually is… A SIZE 16! That’s 10 sizes too big, but I couldn’t put it down! The color, the buttons, the necktie, all so irresistible. I knew a simple tuck-in would solve the size problem and that’s exactly what I did. Watcha think?

Don't Spend Your Youth Growing Up
Looking at my past, I realize I've had to grow up a lot quicker than my peers; living in a single parent home will do that to you. I don't regret the pace of my maturity at all, but I do miss those days when I had all sense of security, no real reason to worry, and less major decisions to make. This was the inspiration for this outfit here. Bows are something I adore hence the headband and the ring I accidentally took from my boss: I know she's gonna kill me! I buttoned my collar all the way up b/c that's how my mom used to dress me up when I was younger.. haha. I found these sneakers at the thrift a few days ago and I just can't seem to leave them alone. Watcha think?
